Black Scorpions Come...

These days I have found some black scorpions near my house in the village I work in.
I have had many patients with scorpion bites during last month. I have found these images on internet which show the horrible features of these black and big scorpions.
I have heared about the death of some patients from bites of these scorpions in this village some years ago. Anyway dealing with these scorpions and also snakes is not so hard but dealing with some people here is really hard. I have found that the practice of medicine in Iran and in the regions with low socioeconomic status is really hard because you need some abilities to manage your work. These abilities in some ways are against the medical ethics and against the medicine as a noble profession. I myself can not get these abilities and I do not like to have these abilities, then working as a physician in Iran is really hard for me. I prefer to go to Africa to give medical services to the people there. I believe to be a good physician; you must be a good human first.
Something interesting: I visited a patient whose name was lemon!!!!!

My published poem

One of my Persian poems titled "Death" (Marg in persian) has been published in iranian.com.

This poem is based on a word by Khalil Jibran.

Iranian.com, also known as The Iranian and The Iranian Times, is an online English language magazine. It has the largest online following among Iranians residing in North America.

As the web site of iranian.com is filtered in Iran, I have put some parts of its web page here. You can see the poem in iranian.com here or download it from here.
